Nick Laird is the author of two novels: Utterly Monkey, and Glover's Mistake, and author of three books of poetry: To a Fault, On Purpose, and Go Giants. He and his wife, novelist Zadie Smith, live between New York and London. He is currently adjunct professor at Columbia University, New York.
